No! I've been very responsible with sensible flat
shoes, and I rarely wear heels, but I stopped having
to wear the "clunkers" to function normally. Actually,
I can go barefoot now painlessly, and I hadn't really
been able to enjoy that since I was a child.
What's really sad about this is that my beloved
Grandmother suffered from the kind of foot pain I was
beginning to experience, and they treated her for the
arthritis, and it just got worse and worse. (So you
know what was in the back of my mind - that my feet
would just get worse and worse, and nothing would
really help.) If only we had been able to put 2+2
together back then and save her from all that pain.
