Sister Jabou, I beg to differ with you on the mosque issue. What do you think
will happen if, one day Gambia votes in a President and he/she happens to be
christian or animist? Upon being sweared in, happens to feel insecure or lazy
to attend mass or rituals and decide to build a Jallang or Church on the same
STATE HOUSE premises. Jawara was 1000x more pious than Jemus and Fatty
combined and could have erected a mosque within. Common sense prevailed as he could
have opened up a pandoras box, for Jammeh to put up his rightful jallang
instead of mosque. What if Jammeh were true to himself and had erected a Jallang
instead of mosque? Would youi still support the move?
