Jabou and Mo, yes indeed the coalition summit was a success anyway one looks
at it and all five alternative party representatives agreed with the call of
Gambians them to come together and they are ready to engage in discussing
the modalities and finding answers to the how and what.  A lot was said
during that four hour period and it is important that we hit all the main
points of the summit for the press release.  It is currently under review by
the organizers and should be finalized by the weekend.  Just to have those
guys in the same room talking to each other and acknowledging and respecting
each other's points of view was indeed a mile stone in it self.  There was
nothing phony about the process and above all, they were all sincere.  At
the conclusion of it all, challenges were laid on the door steps of both us
and the Alternative parties (Ous Mbenga suggested we change from using the
word opposition in our political discourse, to the Alternative).  A lot of
work lay ahead all of us, but it is work we must do to liberate Gambia.
