I don't know if this would work with a power chair but we use a big plastic rain poncho for Anthony. It covers him and the chair. Since it is a manual chair we can watch for the sides getting caught in the spokes. You might be able to trim the sides a bit so it doesn't hang down too long. The kind we use are the thin plastic ones - only a few dollars at Walmart. And they fold up into a little pouch so we can keep it in his backpack for unexpected showers.

Hope this helps...

Jenn, Ava Rose is absolutely gorgeous. Give her hugs from me!

Now, a question for you wheelchair users... How do you handle rainy days?
Since I have my power chair, I can drive with my right hand and hold an
umbrella with the left. But, my feet and legs still seem to end up getting
soaked. A big golf umbrella keeps me dry, but is hard to balance with one
hand. Any suggestions?
