because everyone who is post cp is dead. it is a lifetime thing. i think as
we live longer and more research is done it will begin to seep into the
consiousness of the medicle profession, but, of course probably be too late
to help us. the younger ones will be helped.

One saving grace here is that you get full medical covereage with no premium
after 10 years service.  I'm halfway there.

I still wonder why there's no official "post-CP syndrome" as there is for
polio and other disorders.  Maybe there are just too darn many of us that it
scares the US Public Health Service.

going on 29 now. will have 31 when i reach age. i'll be 53 next month and
one of the combos is 55 with 30 years. i will be 56 when benjamin gets out
of high school though. i hope my doctor can keep me glued together that
long.
much of the time it is hard to concentrate over the pain i get from all the
problems caused to my joints and tendons etc by the cp.
