It was the discussion of the economics of the funeral home industry that
got to me.  Not only did you write clearly and compellingly about your own
experiences, but when I challenged you on a couple of points, you didn't
get defensive.

And it didn't escape my notice that you were a stonecutter with a respect
for history and craftsmanship.
