I know, I know.
BP is not a book club.
The only writing to read is the writing we write.

But, in the spirit of 'old farts' giving advice to the
young, I thought this particularly apposite.

Just read "tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom.
A wonderful tale about a class in the meaning of life.
Having experienced just enough of a similar situation
about a year ago to understand, but not enough to be
comfortable that I learnt all I could, I thought it
was just stunning.

I can share more details, or go to:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0385484518/qid=1011950211/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_66_1/104-7684615-1271901

Struck me that this is very much about the spirit of
community, and one of the strong threads that runs
through this email list.
