I don't know how many of you need or want to analyze recipes, meals, or your
typical diet for protein, carbs, fat, fiber, sodium, etc. I found a great
nutrition analysis software program I got for $15.95 It's easy to use and
you can add or subtract foods to/from the data base. This company makes
sells a Mac and an IBM platform. Btw: Finding a Mac platform nutrition
analysis program was challenging. You can check it out:

http://www.arealinks.net/CyberDiet/

It includes a database of 2400 food items compiled from data from the U.S
Department of Agriculture and from food manufacturers.

The program shows the amount of nutrients in your diet (calories, protein,
carbohydrates, fats, cholesterol, fiber, calcium and sodium), both as units
as well as the percentage of DV (Daily Value). It's is released as
shareware. You can download it for free, and you get to try it before you
buy it.

I bought it for my work and have been very pleased with it.

Cheers,

Rachel
