Joanne, that answer is fabulous! If you don't mind I will adopt it. :c) I'm
calming down now, in part because of resources and support systems regarding
disability that weren't available for me a year ago--but during my angry
phase, I always wanted to answer "God bless you" with "You need it more than
I do!" I don't mind being blessed per se, if I see that the person does it to
everyone they pass. I just resent the implication that my life is a
regrettable thing to be endured. I love life and I love walking, however long
it takes me. I wish strangers would realize that, if they want to say
something, hello works very well. LOL.
