That must be why my head is such an unusual shape!
Our colleague in preservation, Les Fossell, sez:
There is a nice old brick octagon in Wiscassett, Maine; and one in
Litchfield, Maine with an unusually steep pitch roof, but the only octagon
in Alna that he knows about was built just 15 years ago.
