I am currently around 7 weeks pregnant and had difficulty tolerating my prescribed prenatal vitamins due to the iron content.  Today I switched to the GNC "Prenatal Vitamin Without Iron."  I chose the GNC brand because they are "guaranteed gluten free."  But about 30 minutes after taking it, it felt like my heart was pounding.  This lasted for about an hour.  I'm fine now (other than my typical evening nausea), but it made me a little concerned.  I plan to call my OB tomorrow if it happens again, but I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience/problems with GNC-brand vitamins?
Please, no lectures ... I am taking an iron supplement, just not part of a multivitamin, and I am getting my 1mg of folic acid per day.
