My name is Craig DeBoard and I work in Quality Assurance for Eisai, the
manufacturer of AcipHex, in RTP, NC. I was forwarded your GF question and
contacted some people in our organization for an answer. I have included
their responses below. I hope this clarifies your question and if I can be
of any further assistance please let me know. I was particularly
interested in finding a quick answer for you because I also have Celiac
disease. Thank you.
Craig -
Yes, Craig, Aciphex is gluten-free. It also has no red dye, meaningful soy
content, and it is kosher.
We have a standard reply letter for healthcare professionals, as do most
pharmaceutical companies, since gluten content it is a common question.
I'm working on getting that information added to a Frequently Asked
Questions (FAQ) section of our Web pages.
