The glow you see in the NE is me. I've been ultrasounded, x-rayed, cat
scanned, blood-letted and prodded by Internist, Surgeons, etc., all to
no real conclusion. Started with feeling nauseous, then vomiting for
most of a day (could not keep down anything including liquid). This
was not a usual gluten reaction for me (no diarrhea), but I had snuck a
few of my husbands Wendy's fries just before it started. Well a week
later I was no longer feeling sick, but I had a steady ache and pin-
point pains to the touch just above my waist between my rib cage. They
put me on a slow release antacid capsule ($100.00/mth) which didn't
seem to do anything, but I seemed worse after I ate rather than before.
Last year, I was treated for bacterial ulcers but they said those would
not come back (?). The only thing to show up was a slightly enlarged
bile duct which was there last year too. So now what. I must say they
did ALL the tests to rule out the obvious, now they want me to have
another (3rd) endoscopy to see if I have ordinary ulcers, which I've
ruled out since nothing spicy bothers me. It seems to be more volume
of food rather than type of food. Any ideas?
