A Tyler Support Group for individuals with gluten intolerance is being
organized for the purpose of providing education, support, and
fellowship to individuals and families who have Celiac Disease and
Dermatitis Herpetiformis in their quest to learn about the diseases
and diet issues and how to adjust to the new gluten-free lifestyle.
The first meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall of First
Presbyterian Church, corner of Rusk and College Streets in
Tyler. Janet Y. Rinehart, former President of CSA/USA and
Chairman of the Houston CSA chapter, will be the guest
speaker . The meetring is Sat., Sept. 28 at 10 a.m.
Patients, families and anyone who has a sensitivity to gluten
(wheat, barley, rye or oats) or wheat is invited to attend.
