I have a question concerning steamed crabs and I guess for that matter
steamed shrimp.
If the crabs and shrimp are washed off does it matter what was
originally in the steaming solution or in the spices -- ie. is there a
problem with gluten? I know alot of people steam their crabs with a
combination of water, vinegar and beer. Does the gluten penetrate the
crab shells? If so, what do people use to steam their crabs??
