Hi Doreen,

Regarding your question about viewing pages offline- I would say the
additional advantage is that sometimes you can't get to a site- either it
has been moved or is temporarily not working. So if that page had specific
information you needed, as opposed to just being a portal to other web
pages, viewing offline might make sense, as it actually downloads the info.
from that page.

Regarding cached, I think it just means that it is being brought in, perhaps
to a temporary storage place? Maybe someone else knows exactly what it
means.

Regarding your MS word question, when you use the control-r, control-l and
control-e commands, they apply to the whole line, not just part of it. That
means as soon as you hit Control-R, if you're on the same line, it will
change the whole line from left align to right align. But, there is another
way to acheive what you want, which my husband was kind enough to show me:
1. Go to your format menu on the menu bar with alt-o
2. Hit t to skip to tabs
3.If you are using the default margins, then 6 inches is where the margin is
set, and you put 6 in the first edit box(tab stop position). If you have
the margin set on something else, you would put that number in.
4. tab until you get to alignment then use your arrow keys to choose the
type of alignment you want for that tab stop, in your case, right.(you can
also skip right the one you want by using the key combo alt with the first
letter of the type of alignment, e.g. alt-r for right aligned- this must be
done while in this tabs dialog box.)
5. Hit enter. This will lock in that tab stop for every line after this,
until you you go back in and clear it.

To clear the tab stops, Go to your format menu and to tabs, hit your tab key
until you get to clear all and hit enter.(or the hot key for this is alt-a
while in this dialog box) Hit enter one more time, and this will put the
tab stops back to the default, every .5 inch.

What this all acheives, is that after setting the tab stops the way i first
described above, if you want part of the line left aligned you just type
that part, then hit your tab stop and what you type after that will be right
aligned.(This could also be acheived by selecting text and hitting tab).

Take Care,

Patty Arnold
