It wouldn't do much good to save drivers to a disk since they are so often updated.  What I do is save them when I download them, eventually I'll make a CD with drivers on it, but before I would reformat i'd check the manufacturer's web site to see if there is an update, and download it to a zip disk if there is one.  It's always better to do a clean reinstall of the drivers after a reformat.
