Yes, pasta will do it, but I just don't eat pasta anymore.  I
really can't find a dietary culprit.  I'm experiencing the
problem this morning.  Last night's dinner was some slices of
roast beef and a chunk of watermelon -- a dinner combination that
I have had hundreds of times.  This is why I wonder if it's the
stomach acid, making it more difficult for me to digest the
protein.  Amadeus's conjecture is also a possibility.
