> 1) Why did you choose the paleo plan?

Seemed reasonable, and it fit my prejudices.

> 2) How long have you been on a paleo diet?

10 months

> 3) Which plan do you most closely follow and which book can't you live
> without?

Neanderthin.

> 4) What have been your results - health improvements, weight loss, etc.

Lost 13 pounds, gained some muscle. Hay fever very much reduced this
spring, other people and the news said this is a bad year too.
Migraine headaches reduced from 2-3 a week to one a month or less, and
less severe. Old aches and pains, athletic injuries from college
disappeared; I can now run pain free, my knees do not ache. No gas,
constipation, intestinal troubles. I keep waiting for my hair to start
growing back....

> 5) Did you have any addictions when you started that were hard to kick; if
> so, how did you do it (cold turkey or slow withdrawal)???

No.

> 6) Are there any "paleo foods" which you exclude from the diet because they
> don't work for you?

No.

> 7) Are there any "non-paleo foods" which you seem to be able to handle in
> small quantities while still maintaining your health improvements, etc.?

Chocolate, milk, coffee, rice, potatoes, fermented soy products etc.,
all in small quantities. If I go overboard on the sugary things I know
about it pretty fast, chocolate is a temptation...;--) Wheat is the
main thing I avoid like plague.

> 8) What is a typical paleo day for you? (I'm particularly interested in
> what you all have for breakfast as I don't like eggs)

Breakfast is often 2-3 raw eggs in a cup of juice and drunk straight,
no egg taste. Otherwise bacon and eggs, steak, veggies, often nothing
at all as I am usually not hungry in the morning. In that case a snack
in the late morning, nuts and seeds or leftovers from dinner.

> 9) Do you take any vitamins, supplements?

Yes, a multivitamin/mineral, and fish oil.

> 10) What about exercise?

Running twice a week and gardening.
