The feb 23 issue of NEWSCIENTIST has a fascinating article on sleep.  In a
nut shell when the waking/sleeping periods the waking periods reflected a
power law and the sleeping periods reflected an exponential.  Aparently this
is the first time a linked phenomena has contained both functions.  A recent
publication in Europhysics Letters is mentioned in the article and I will
see about tracking it down.  do read it if you get a chance.
