The last movie was "Gosford Park". The last video was "Thomas the Tank
Engine"....I got kids.

Some movies just have classic lines, no matter how old (e.g., "Play it
again, Sam" --Casablanca). See what I mean? Thornton's performance in
"Sling Blade" was genius. Movies like "Raising Arizona", "Full Metal
Jacket", etc., have timeless screenplays; their dialogues jump from prose to
poetry. Plus the fact that I'm one of those geeks that watch films "about a
go-zillion" (Forrest Gump) times. Eventually you learn the entire
screenplay. Laura and I can quote a good bit of "Blazing Saddles" (Mel
Brooks, 1974) verbatim.

It's a fun way to piddle away time, and somewhat safer than smoking crack.
