We are in the process of trying to rezone our property in to a couple of
pieces of ground so my son can build a house on the back part of the lot.
We had a survey done with two legal descriptions and a complicated
appraisal, because we have to submit all sorts of documentation to the city.
I have two towers. One is a 45 footer bolted to the back of the house. The
other is a 65 foot tower about 75 feet from the back of my house. The
appraiser devalued the house slightly because of the tower. I didn't ask
him how much but he did for my benefit just in case the bank thought the
appraisal was too good to be true. Their reasoning? A buyer probably
wouldn't want to buy a house with a tower in the yard. A lot they know,
haw.

73,
Phil.
