OK since high fat diet become a topic here I will add my $0.02
For a few months now I'm on a very high fat diet (fat calories 75-80%) and I
feel really great. I started with protein/fat only but my performance in a
gym sucked so I thrown back the carbs. I keep protein at around 10-12% the
rest are carbs.
I found this mix to work best for me but of course it may not work for
everybody.
In my case putting back carbs (up to 100 g a day when working out) didn't
cause any fat gain. I'm still under 10% bodyfat.
Through first 2-3 weeks I lost some weight (around 7 pounds)but fat loss
wasn't my goal and I'm eating rather high calories.
