Atkins is definately not paleo, but he is a big step up from the
sweets and junk diet. It helped me a lot as I made the transition to
paleo. His low carb plan does not eliminate grains, but does greatly
reduce them. He is also aware of grain intolerances and warns how to
recognise the symptoms. A lot of good prctical advice mixed with pill pushing.
