It definitely has worked for me. Since eliminating grains and generally
restricting carbohydrate (but not to the extreme) about a year ago, I no
longer get sleepy in the afternoon at all. This was a dramatic change,
since I used to get quite drowsy pretty much every day, sleeping sitting
up at my computer. I think I have a generally higher energy level, and
have lost twenty pounds of fat and put on several pounds of muscle.
