Wow!  I remember when I got mine, and those were the days when Novice class
licenses were only for a year, not renewable, and we had to upgrade or go
off the air, and 75 watts and crystal controlled, only had two meter phone
privileges between 145 and Mhz, but when updating it was either Technician
or General class license, only  conditional in the mail if over 75 or 100
miles, I don't remember which from the FCC office or periodic examiner.
Anyway, the feeling never changes, even when you get your upgrade to Extra
as I did, and congratulations!  REALLY!  Welcome to the world of hamming
which is as unique as each one of us who contributes to the hobby.  Have a
blast and investigate all the options you have now open to you and you'll
find a niche which interests you and keeps you fascinated.
