Now is the time to advocate for better food labels. You can go to this
webpage http://www.congress.org and directly e-mail a letter to members of
these committees. (Select Congress after going to this page, then choose
the appropriate committee and you will get the list below, click on printer
friendly version and then you can select individual senators/reps and get
their specific contact information. It is very simple to do. Look for a
senator or rep from your state and send to them. Also I recommend sending
to the chair and ranking minority memeber even if not from your state.
The Bill is the Food Allergen consumer protection act Senate bill # 2499
and house bill # 4704. Please e-mail today to avoid this getting bogged
down in committee. Below are the addresses for the senate and house
