Dear List Mates,

Happy (almost) Spring. Brief, 2-line intro: I was diagnosed with CD in
April 1998, just past my 48th birthday, and I've stuck to a strict
gluten-free diet ever since; I also have hypothyroid disease and severe
early-onset osteoporosis, as well as non-CD-related asthma. Aside from
chronic pain because of the osteoporosis, I feel mostly fine most of the time.

A few weeks ago, though, I went to see my primary care physician, because
I'd been (I thought) unusually fatigued. She ordered a bunch of lab tests
and an EKG for me. The EKG results indicated an abnormality, so she had me
get a second one; I don't yet know the results. If the initial EKG results
are confirmed -- and I have a sense they will be, because I have the
symptoms -- the results will mean that I have what's known as
Wolf-Parkinson-White Syndrome, which is a form of tachycardia. From what
my pcp told me, it's manageable. Managing it would involve my taking a
beta blocker.

I thought I'd get "ahead of the game," in the sense of researching beta
blockers, in the event that I do need to go on one. So, here is my
question: Could any of you on the list tell me which beta blockers are
gluten-free?

Thanks in advance for the information!!
