Hi, All

I can personally testify to being a person who has done everything "right" as far as keeping my bones healthy. I have always eaten a very healthy diet, exercised every single day (used to be a marathon runner, swimmer, biker.....now I am a devoted fast walker), enjoyed lots of fresh air and sunshine (as in Vitamin D), never smoked, don't drink, and take a cal/mag supplement that contains boron, manganese and silica, along with Vitamin D. My problem? My bone density tests keep getting worse. I'm hanging on to osteopenia by a thread. I've finally come to the conclusion that you can do everything right until the cows come home, but some of us just don't absorb calcium and other nutrients through our food and supplements the way we should. I know that celiac disease definitely compromised that absorbtion before I became aware that I had it and went gf. But it has been five years of a strict gf diet and all the other things that should be making a difference, and nothing is working. I recently asked the folks at Country Life vitamin company if they had anything that would help in this. They sent literature about their product "Target-Mins Cal-Mag". This formula contains something called bioperine, which is a pure extract of black pepper. This is something they highly recommend for absorption of the calcium and magnesium. Any suggestions or comments (nice ones, please) would be appreciated.
By the way, I have absolutely no connection to this company or it's stock.
Still looking..... Christie in TX
