I just stopped by the pharmacy to purchase some nail polish remover. I saw one that promised to strengthen brittle nails and decided that might be helpful, since my nails aren't the strongest. However, when I read the front label it said "contains wheat hydrolyzed protein". The brand is Sally Hansen and is pink in color. I opted for another Sally Hansen brand that promises to moisturize dry, brittle nails, which is GF and blue in color.
So ladies (and gentlemen?) beware: Sally Hansen Nail Polish Remover for Strengthening Brittle Nails" contains hydrolyzed WHEAT protein.
