There are several software programs that are designed to transfer data from
one PC to another via you parallel or USB cables. One is Aloha Bob's PC
Relocater (Checkout Tigerdirect.com). To more specific, one would have to
know more specifically why you want to connect the two. Hope this was of
some help.
David

Subject: Re: [PCBUILD] Connecting Laptop with Desktop

PCBUILD Digest - 21 Mar 2002 to 22 Mar 2002 (#2002-82)Hello,
I have a laptop which has a serial (COM) port, a parallel port, a USB port
and an infra-red port. My desktop has COM, parallel and USB but no
infra-red. My question is how do I physically connect the two? What are the
cables required? I use Win98 on both.
Thanks
Ashok
