I once used norton protected recycle bin, and I found that the files
where actually in a completely hidden folder. Even by turning "Show All
Files" on it would never let me see this folder. It was
C:\Recycled\Nprotect. There is one on every drive or partition in your
system, so if you have a D:\ drive, it would be D:\Recycled\Nprotect.
The only way to get to this folder is to type it's path in the explorer
address bar. You can't navigate there by clicking through folders. I
wrote a batch file that empties all my folders. It looks like this:

deltree /y c:\Recycled\Nprotect

If you have more drives you want to empty, just add more lines with the
appropriate drive. Ex:

deltree /y c:\Recycled\Nprotect
deltree /y d:\Recycled\Nprotect
deltree /y e:\Recycled\Nprotect
deltree /y f:\Recycled\Nprotect
deltree /y g:\Recycled\Nprotect

Paste this into notepad and save it as "clean.bat" or something similar.
When you run it you will see your hard drive space magically re-appear
:) . Of course you can also just type in the path (C:\Recycled\Nprotect)
and manually delete the files in that folder.

HTH,

Gavin Sharp
