   As stated in an earlier post, its a voltage problem on the motherboard, probably a bad capasitor...

   The reason for a higher FBS than the MB supports can be found in the chipset. Its can run as high as a 150Mhz FBS depending on the analog voltage found to set bus speed. As the current draw increases, voltage/FBS drops. When it decreases, they bother may go up. And who knows, using the softmodem on your motherboard may really cause this analog setting to change more.

   Bottom line, I've seen this before and it hasn't caused any problems todate. Usually USER DEFINED fixes this, but as you've seen on your MB this is not always so.
