Lots of good advice already. What's worked for me since I started Paleo is to eat nuts daily. I usually have about 1/2 cup of almonds or pecans. I found out just how important they were when I went through several weeks of testing food intolerances. When the nuts were out of my diet it didn't seem to matter how many oranges or apples, nor how much celery or broccoli I ate ... I was still constipated.
I'm not sure if it's the fiber or the fat or what, but it works for me.
Good luck!
