Ever since I got this new machine, running Windows XP and I.E. 6, I have
been unable to download my Citibank account activity to my hard drive to be
imported into Quicken 2001. The site is citibankonline.com, and I'm trying
to download a .qfx file. Since I'm not able to download directly into
Quicken from this site, I'd always saved the file to my hard drive and then
clicked it to bring it into Quicken. But now when I go to save the file to
my hard drive, Explorer crashes. I have spoken to both Citibank and
Microsoft about this, and neither has a clue about what the problem could
be. I even tried downloading the file in a different format, .qif, from
the same site, with the same result. Could NAV 2002 be interfering with
the download, even though it never caused a problem with Windows 98 and
I.E. 5.5? And let me say that I've successfully saved other programs/files
to my machine. Is anyone out there using Citibank's site with I.E. 6 and
Windows XP?
Thanks for any ideas you might have.
Rachel
