Thanks to all who responded. It was the power supply that was bad but
another I encountered another problem when I booted the system. An error
came up in the boot sequence 'resource conflict in network controller slot
3'. The system would halt there..just a black screen. I could get in on
safe mode every time and about 1 out of 10 times it would boot normally. I
narrowed it down to the networking card. I did a search on the problem and
tried several different things including disabling the network card,
checking the device manager for duplicates etc and couldn't resolve the
problem. I removed the card from the system and everything worked fine.
Since the customer doesn't need this card I left it out and they are
satisfied and took it home but I'm interested in any thoughts anyone might
have.
Thanks for your help.
