Don't be so sure that the drivers for the Logitech Qcam did not cause a problem with your sound card. The camera records sound with the pictures, and may have had a conflict somewhere in there. I never could get the Qcam to run on my Win Me system. It froze up the OS completely. In the end I had to install it on my Win 98 SE desktop. No matter how many times I installed and/or uninstalled it, it never would run on Win Me.
