Hello
I just installed a new drive and I would like to
install XP on the new
drive and keep 98 on the old "primary drive" can I
just go on and
install XP on the new drive and use boot magic to
select which drive to boot
from? can anyone anticipate any problems I may have
during the install?
---Brock Hughes---
I recently got a new drive also and thought I'd put
WinXP on it, but after doing some reading I decided to
put WinXP on the same drive as Win98 and dual boot
from there. I used Partition Magic, to divide my old
15GB HD in half and added WinXP to the second half, I
have almost all my applications, games, etc on the new
drive (160GB) and it is working like a charm!!!
WinXp installs "fresh" very easily. I had not one
glitch.
Originally I tried upgrading my Win98 to XP with aid
of an HP (I have an HP Pavilion) CD which was supposed
to make it easy...it didn't!
