To my knowledge, W2K will only format in FAT32 or NTFS. If your partition is
formatted at FAT 16, you could use a program like partition magic and it will
let you convert your file system on the fly.

If you are not planning on dual booting, I would recommend dumping the FAT
all together and using the W2K's native NTFS.

When assembling my first W2k machine I must have messed up: the C:\ partition
wound up with the FAT file system, but D:\ and E:\ are in FAT32, which is
what I wanted.

Is it somehow possible to convert C:\to FAT32? I ask because C:\ already is
75-80% full and has a large minimum file size.
