I'm jumping in a little late, but I
wanted to clarify just in case others
read this the same. The Pentium 4 has
a 400Mhz front side bus, but not a
cpu core speed of 400Mhz.
I had just lectured on this topic, but
the 400Mhz is actually only 100Mhz
using 4 command processes per clock cycle.
Which by the way is why rambus is ideal
over SDRAM.
Similar to the AMD 200 & 266Mhz FSB gain
using 2 data transfers per clock cycle.
Which is why it is ideal to use DDR-SDRAM.

Otherwise, P4's are only available above
1.3Ghz .
