There are two varieties of plantain - the kind that most of us treat as
weeds in our lawns and gardens, which are fairly small and have ovoid leaves;
the other taller plant has longish canoe shaped leaves and is one of the
ancient sacred healing herbs, used for wounds, stings and much more . The
smaller plantain is almost always found in the vicinity of nettles as it is
the natural remedy for that sting as well as all the other uses Judy
mentioned!
