We go to the lake every year w/ my sister and her family for vacation and
rent a house. Every thing was going great until Jack (3 anaphylactic-dairy)
rubbed his face into the carpet. W/in 10 mins. he started sneezing-eyes
watering-a bit of lip swelling. It was not an anaphylactic response though his
subsequent behavior followed the usual 360* "devil child" personality swing.
Kicking, screaming et.. I mean literally trying to climb the walls! It's almost as
if he were trying to come out of his own skin. I dosed w/ Benedryl-called the
Dr- and after about 4 hyper hours he fell into a 4 hour nap. From which he
awoke his normal self. Am not sure if something spilt prior on the carpet or it
was something entirely different?

Was wondering if anyone else has had similar experience?
Thanks,
Lisa
PS-As a side note-my sister who has asthma, eczema and I. B. noticed a
marked relief of symptoms with no dairy in her diet for a week--Her regular Dr.
kept telling her there was no connection to dairy intake or Jack's situation.
She's going to see Jack's allergist next week.
