Kary, the network admin, can do nothing. Making the archives private
would make no difference, since any person can join (and then "reap"
the archives - or more likely send the ListServ command which returns
the membership list (minus those set to "conceal")). So for that to
work you would have to restrict membership - not something I'd be
happy with.
I'd be interested to know how many people got this latest spam (Apr
04) from monsieur Jost. I wrote to him a few weeks ago asking him to
remove all addresses he'd harvested from C-Palsy, and although I did
not receive a reply, I also haven't received any more spam. I know
Kathy Jo is on more than 1 list that he nicked addresses from, so
theoretically he could have complied with my wishes but some
individuals would still be receiving due to their presence on other
lists.. The other, an more likely, answer is that he's just taken me
off the list!!!
