i normally address their religious beliefs right then and there. see the
mouth drop open. i am a christian and reading the bible for 47 years of my
life. i can address those beliefs quickly and do.
I know and respect that some people do care and want to help us with our
disabilities, but I have had times when people have totally scared my family
and me by saying very religious things like "God is going to heel you", read
this part of the bible and once we have had a woman start praying to me in a
restaurant (which was embarrassing for everybody in the restaurant, not just
my family). As I said we do respect that people have different religious
beliefs than what we do, but there's a proper time and place to address
those beliefs.
Thanks,
Anthony

The only thing that has honestly bothers me is when someone approaches
Chris
and says something like "God Bless you for going through what you you do
with
her.... it must be so hard!! You will get your awesome reward one day at
heaven's gate"....(blah blah).... i get it more often then you think....
people are so ignorant!
