i think carreer pols were never envisioned by the founders. i think they
though someone would serve and then go home to work. has not exactly
happened that way though.

The saying, "Power corrupts," is as true today as it was when it was
first coined.  That's why I think term limits are the only way to get
our government back to being accountable.   The representatives and
senators, obviously, don't feel like that.

surely abe lincoln was no condit, but of course ben franklin was sorta a
"ladies man" even though a great statesman.

That is sad! A lot of stuff goes to these 24 hour news network which

make news. Twenty years ago, Condit would have been covered less, but

these guys on the news fight like hungry dogs over the least little
