Just returned from taking a bunch of Birmingham masons  to a hands on course
at Virginia Lime Works ; this is a great workshop for those interested in
historic mortars
and their properties. We all then spent a week on the Cathedral there in
Birmingham repointing and using lime mortar injection; very impressive but
slow  work ...and that might be its only drawback...I will let you know more
later as the lime is a whole different animal in its prep and application and
setting time ....but I like it  (or lime it ??)   michael ..Alas  my lap top
is down ....
