Oh, no I understand that, but what I am trying to get at is that they let
you use them in flight when they are passing out all the goodies meaning
lap tops, and even tape recorders for that matter do emit RF to an extent
but they really start to complainwith something as simple as a scanner or
AM FM radio.  Forget about MA, but FM or public service it is somewhat
neat to hear many things at once.  As far as cell phonees go the reason
why you can't use them is because they will roam all over the place.  If I
could go 1000 feet up with my cell phone and roam to many cell sites at
once just think of how confusincould get at 20000 feet.
