UNHCR RESETTLEMENT PROGRAM
The United Nations High Commission on Refugees (UNHCR) have (sic)
restarted its program for the resettlement of Liberians [refugees]
with relatives in the United States. On today, July 30, 2003, between
the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm, the Lutheran Social Services, located
in Falls Church, Virginia, will begin accepting applications for the
program, from relatives of Liberian in the Ivorian refugee camps.
There is no cost to apply. I would advise that you still apply even
if your relatives are not yet in the Ivorian refugee camps. But they
may have to be there when the UN goes to process them.
Please refer your questions to Dijana Prodanovic of the Lutheran
Social Services of the National Capital Area, Refugees and Immigrant
Services, 703-698-5026 extension 100.
Location to apply:
Lutheran Social Services
7401 Leesburg Pike
Falls Church, Virginia, 22043
Thanks for reading.
