First go to safe mode (choice #3) to see if system will run properly with
out drivers. If not:
Also in safe mode (choice #5)at c:\prompt type scanreg /restore which gives
you a choice of earlier backups of the register. Use your earliest.
Also, since it happens over time--It could be a heat problem.
