Justin,
As with curb cuts, many seniors and folks who are not literally disabled
but who have difficulty reading, find that large print and speech output,
when properly planned and implemented, can add signifficantly to the ease
of use of ATMs, and the like.

In my experience as a rehabilitation engineer, it is nearly a truism that
giving people more than one way to get at valuable information is a good thing.
Most folks are not 23 year old hotshot programmers with perfect senses.
but that's who designs many modern interfaces.
